Amardeep is a Social Development researcher and practitioner, with a particular focus on Communities; Race; and Gender. She brings a wealth of experience in working with and for vulnerable and marginalised communities in the UK and abroad. Amardeep leads darvaja, where she is driving strategic participatory research with VCS organisations on Equity and Inclusion, with a particular focus on racial inclusion.

Previously, Amardeep was a researcher for the Asia Development Bank Institute in the Capacity Building team, where she worked with Senior government strategists and policy makers to embed inclusion for marginalised communities into the planning process through better engagement with grassroots Civil Society organisations. Her work is focused on strategic impact and better outcomes with and for communities, and the stakeholders that serve them.
