Ali works primarily in the voluntary sector for Reading Mencap supporting children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and their families/carers to have a voice, access support, access leisure and community activities and to have their needs identified and met.  She has previously worked in mental health in both the acute adult and the adolescent areas.

Ali has a passion for theatre and, as well as it being a leisure activity, uses this within her work as a drama facilitator, trainer, workshop facilitator and to enhance her skills as a presenter, interviewer and consultant.
