Environmental statement

Just Ideas aims to be an environmentally and socially responsible business, based on our commitment to the vision of One Planet Living.

Working effectively online:

We maximise the benefit of connecting and working between staff and associates online, reducing our carbon footprint by minimising individual travel. Our Reading office is powered by electricity from a renewable energy supplier.

Choosing public transport and low carbon travel:

We work with clients across the UK and sometimes internationally. We choose public transport wherever possible for our national travel, and benefit from walking or cycling when shorter distances are involved.

Managing waste:

We recycle the paper, plastics, printer cartridges and any glass used in the course of our working day, whether in our office or on client premises.

Reducing consumption and consuming ethically:

We strive to minimise consumption of resources – paper, stationery etc. We choose recyclable products whenever possible, and avoid single-use plastic whenever we can. 

We recognise that we can still do more. As a business we pledge to continually improve and reduce our environmental impact.

At Just Ideas we know that being an active member of our community is important and in line with our commitment to the principles of One Planet Living. Between us we’re volunteering as charity trustees; patient voice representatives; at community sports events and for community advice services.
